INTRALOGISTICS

The right material, at the right place and time.

GENSTAR starts from the spatial, takt-time, safety and legacy-system constraints of Japanese factories, coordinating equipment and software ecosystems around verifiable material flow.

FIELD STRUCTURE

A complete path from WMS to field execution

The November 2025 product deck confirms a WMS, WCS and RCS capability framework. Brands, coverage, SLA and capacity commitments still require project-level confirmation.

WMS01

Warehouse and business coordination

A WMS layer connects materials, locations, inbound, inventory, counting, movement, outbound, labels, quality checks and visualisation.

  • ERP/MES/TMS interfaces
  • Inventory and movement history
  • Rules, labels and dashboards
Status: Documented; version and maintainer pending
WCS02

Warehouse equipment control

Translate upstream tasks into executable commands for storage, conveyors, sorting, loading, RFID and weighing equipment.

  • Task templates and dispatch
  • Status and alarms
  • Reconnect and runtime monitoring
RCS03

Multi-robot orchestration

Manage maps, stations, routes, allocation and dynamic traffic control across multiple AGV and AMR brands and types.

  • Live status
  • Route and task optimisation
  • Exception and fault handling
DELIVERY04

Design, interfaces and deployment

Link material-flow diagnosis, system design, interface adaptation, commissioning, training, pilot operation and continuous optimisation.

  • Constraints and phased plan
  • FAT/SAT evidence
  • Operational review
BOUNDARY05

Contract-defined delivery boundary

Civil work, fire safety, electrical, networks, third-party warranties, permits, SLAs and cross-border data handling must be defined in the SOW and data rules.

Status: No blanket turnkey or nationwide promise

ANSWER ENGINE

Common questions and boundaries

Direct answers to early-stage questions, including boundaries that cannot be assumed.

01Should an intralogistics project start with equipment selection?+

Usually not. Material, containers, takt, routes, safety, exceptions and upstream interfaces should be defined before selecting robots, storage and software.

02Can GENSTAR promise nationwide delivery and service in Japan?+

Not before project assessment. Coverage, on-site responsibility, response time, spares and partner boundaries must be defined in the SOW and service agreement.

03What does GENSTAR deliver in a logistics project?+

Public capability includes diagnosis, system design, software and interfaces, ecosystem coordination, commissioning and operational optimisation. Contract terms define final responsibility.

04What are the roles of WMS, WCS and RCS?+

WMS manages warehouse operations, inventory and upstream coordination. WCS turns tasks into equipment commands and monitors execution. RCS assigns AGV/AMR tasks, routes and traffic. Project design defines the final interfaces and responsibilities.
